Narrative:

On flight from pit to tys I was the PF. At approximately XX00 EST we were issued a descent clearance from FL190 to 11000 ft MSL. As we leveled off at 11000 ft MSL I pushed the power levers forward to maintain airspeed. At the time I was concentrating on the WX radar to map a course to avoid level 3-5 thunderstorms. I then noticed the torque gauges in excess of the manufacture's limitations. I reduced power and landed without event. The aircraft engines required inspection and service before the aircraft was returned to service.
