Narrative:
Passing 11000 ft the cabin service coordinator called from the cabin and informed me that we had a passenger passed out. I had her page a doctor/nurse. No medical personnel was aboard. I (the captain) left the cockpit and investigated. I determined that the man's life may be in danger. Declared a medical emergency and returned to lga. Landed normally, taxied to parking and had the paramedics remove passenger. We turned the aircraft and went on to pbi.
