Narrative:

Prior to entering the clouds on our descent into btv, engine anti-ice was turned on. A few seconds later, a master caution chime and right intake light illuminated. The abnormal checklist was reviewed for intake light on. I cycled the switch off to on as per the checklist, at which time my first officer informed me that we had a fire in the right engine and that flames were visible. I took command of the aircraft and guided first officer to perform the memory items for an engine fire. We then proceeded to run the emergency engine fire checklist followed by the abnormal 1-ENG inoperative checklist. I declared an emergency with btv approach and received priority handling. We touched down in btv without accident or incident. The passenger were safely deplaned and escorted to the terminal.
