Narrative:
Clearance delivery ont international cleared us pom 6 daggett transition to 14000 ft. On departure, passing over pom VOR, passing 8000 ft for climb to 14000 ft, socal advised us to stop at 9000 ft as we were passing through 9000 ft. Then said our crossing restr was 8000 ft. Our instruments showed us already over pom VOR. There seemed to be a conflict between our instruments and socal radar screen. Supplemental information from acn 382723: leveled at 8000 ft about 2 DME prior to VOR with multiple TCASII alerts, one at 9:30-10 O'clock within 500 ft about 2-3 mi and another crossing left to right about 3-5 mi climbing through 9000 ft. We remained level at 8000 ft trying to get visual contact on traffic. At about 3.5 DME on other side of pom VOR, socal asked us if we were instructed to remain at 8000 ft and seemed aggravated, at which time we continued climbing to 14000 ft.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: MLG ACFT ON SID WITH XING RESTR. BOTH FLC CLAIM THEY CROSSED THE FIX AT REQUIRED ALT AND THEN COMMENCED CLB IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLRNC. CTLR INTERVENED AND APPARENTLY THOUGHT THEY HAD NOT MADE RESTR. RPTR'S SCENARIOS DIFFER AS TO PROB WITH ALT OVER POM.
Narrative: CLRNC DELIVERY ONT INTL CLRED US POM 6 DAGGETT TRANSITION TO 14000 FT. ON DEP, PASSING OVER POM VOR, PASSING 8000 FT FOR CLB TO 14000 FT, SOCAL ADVISED US TO STOP AT 9000 FT AS WE WERE PASSING THROUGH 9000 FT. THEN SAID OUR XING RESTR WAS 8000 FT. OUR INSTS SHOWED US ALREADY OVER POM VOR. THERE SEEMED TO BE A CONFLICT BTWN OUR INSTS AND SOCAL RADAR SCREEN. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 382723: LEVELED AT 8000 FT ABOUT 2 DME PRIOR TO VOR WITH MULTIPLE TCASII ALERTS, ONE AT 9:30-10 O'CLOCK WITHIN 500 FT ABOUT 2-3 MI AND ANOTHER XING L TO R ABOUT 3-5 MI CLBING THROUGH 9000 FT. WE REMAINED LEVEL AT 8000 FT TRYING TO GET VISUAL CONTACT ON TFC. AT ABOUT 3.5 DME ON OTHER SIDE OF POM VOR, SOCAL ASKED US IF WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO REMAIN AT 8000 FT AND SEEMED AGGRAVATED, AT WHICH TIME WE CONTINUED CLBING TO 14000 FT.
