ATC facility: bna ground. Cleared to taxi to runway 31. ATIS at gate gave visibility as 9 mi. During taxi tower revised visibility to 2.5 mi. Taxi continued approximately 15 ft past ILS hold short line. Instructed to taxi across runway 31 and return to the runway 31 ILS hold short line.
