Narrative:
On deadhead las return from canyon while following alternate return route from gcn along a road, aircraft struck power lines not marked on the VFR chart. I followed company procedures and advised PIC/PF of wire conflict, but followed company procedures and did not take over controls. No evasive action was taken prior to wire strike. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that he and the captain had been fired from the company over this incident and the aircraft damage was to the 1 propeller blade, radome and vertical stabilizer.

Title: CAPT OF AN ATX BEECH, BE99, STRUCK PWR LINE WIRES WHILE FLYING AT 50 FT ABOVE THE GND ON A NON PAX RETURN TO HOME BASE. EVEN THOUGH 1 PROP, RADOME AND VERT STABILIZER WERE DAMAGED, THEY WERE SUBSEQUENTLY ABLE TO CONTINUE ON AND MAKE A SUCCESSFUL LNDG.
Narrative: ON DEADHEAD LAS RETURN FROM CANYON WHILE FOLLOWING ALTERNATE RETURN RTE FROM GCN ALONG A ROAD, ACFT STRUCK PWR LINES NOT MARKED ON THE VFR CHART. I FOLLOWED COMPANY PROCS AND ADVISED PIC/PF OF WIRE CONFLICT, BUT FOLLOWED COMPANY PROCS AND DID NOT TAKE OVER CTLS. NO EVASIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN PRIOR TO WIRE STRIKE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT HE AND THE CAPT HAD BEEN FIRED FROM THE COMPANY OVER THIS INCIDENT AND THE ACFT DAMAGE WAS TO THE 1 PROP BLADE, RADOME AND VERT STABILIZER.
