Aircraft ran rough when switched to right fuel tank. Ran ok when switched to left tank. Fuel lid had been opening and closing hard. Appears fuel leaked out of cap during flight. When fuel caps close hard would suggest replacing them.

Title: A BE36 RPTED THE ENG RUNNING ROUGH WHEN FEEDING FUEL FROM THE R TANK. R TANK FUELING LID HARD TO OPEN AND CLOSE AND APPEARED TO BE LEAKING FUEL AND ALLOWING FUEL TANK CONTAMINATION.
Narrative: ACFT RAN ROUGH WHEN SWITCHED TO R FUEL TANK. RAN OK WHEN SWITCHED TO L TANK. FUEL LID HAD BEEN OPENING AND CLOSING HARD. APPEARS FUEL LEAKED OUT OF CAP DURING FLT. WHEN FUEL CAPS CLOSE HARD WOULD SUGGEST REPLACING THEM.
