Narrative:
On oct/sun/97, I was the PNF operating a flight into evv. After landing and clearing the runway we were waiting for tower to give us instructions. It hit me that I hadn't even checked in with tower. As soon as approach told us to contact tower once established, I had changed to tower. I think what threw us off was the fact that it was VMC and we were not going to get established as with an ILS. Also, we started configuring and running checklist at that point. As we were approaching, I was mentally calculating a GS. Usually, at the 500 ft call, I check the gear and verify the landing clearance. This was one of the few times that I did not do this. Like I said previously, I had changed to tower right away. At many airports, I have heard tower contact the approaching aircraft. This time they did not. I assume that they just wanted to drive home the point. Probably not a bad idea. I don't think there was any one factor that made me forget. It was a combination of several factors.

Title: FO OF AN ACR MDT TURBOPROP FORGOT TO CONTACT TWR AS DIRECTED BY APCH CTL FOR LNDG CLRNC AND CONSEQUENTLY LANDED WITHOUT CONTACTING TWR. FO REALIZED MISTAKE AFTER LNDG AND WAITING FOR TWR'S FURTHER INSTRUCTION TO TAXI TO THE GATE.
