Narrative:
Shortly after departing las on the oasys 2, ZLA gave us a vector for goffs (clearance delivery previously cleared us oasys 2 goffs transition, hec J64 as filed). Over goffs we turned toward hector as cleared, at which time ZLA stated, 'I thought I said present heading.' neither the captain nor myself heard those directions.

Title: MLG ACFT IN CRUISE FLYING CLRED ROUTING WAS QUESTIONED BY ATC CTLR WHO THOUGHT HE HAD CLRED THE ACFT TO MAINTAIN PRESENT HDG, BUT THE FLC NEVER HEARD THAT CLRNC.
Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTING LAS ON THE OASYS 2, ZLA GAVE US A VECTOR FOR GOFFS (CLRNC DELIVERY PREVIOUSLY CLRED US OASYS 2 GOFFS TRANSITION, HEC J64 AS FILED). OVER GOFFS WE TURNED TOWARD HECTOR AS CLRED, AT WHICH TIME ZLA STATED, 'I THOUGHT I SAID PRESENT HDG.' NEITHER THE CAPT NOR MYSELF HEARD THOSE DIRECTIONS.
