Narrative:

I was inbound to land. Approach said go to pattern altitude 2200 ft, expect right base for runway 28. Report airport in sight. I reported airport, changed frequency to CTAF and they repeated right base for runway 28. I was confused, set up for runway 21 on right base, turned and landed. As I got about 100 ft off ground and 1/4 mi to runway I realized my mistake, but I was too low to go to runway 28. I looked for traffic, continued my landing on runway 21, crossing runway 28. In my confusion, I failed to pull any flaps until the last 1000 ft of runway. I ran off the end into the grass (40 ft). No damage. No injuries. I was told to phone the tower. I did and answered all their questions. I proceeded on with the photo flight later with passenger and flew back to eky and informed the FBO who owned the plane. Runways 28 and 21 confused me. I need to pay attention.

Narrative: I WAS INBOUND TO LAND. APCH SAID GO TO PATTERN ALT 2200 FT, EXPECT R BASE FOR RWY 28. RPT ARPT IN SIGHT. I RPTED ARPT, CHANGED FREQ TO CTAF AND THEY REPEATED R BASE FOR RWY 28. I WAS CONFUSED, SET UP FOR RWY 21 ON R BASE, TURNED AND LANDED. AS I GOT ABOUT 100 FT OFF GND AND 1/4 MI TO RWY I REALIZED MY MISTAKE, BUT I WAS TOO LOW TO GO TO RWY 28. I LOOKED FOR TFC, CONTINUED MY LNDG ON RWY 21, XING RWY 28. IN MY CONFUSION, I FAILED TO PULL ANY FLAPS UNTIL THE LAST 1000 FT OF RWY. I RAN OFF THE END INTO THE GRASS (40 FT). NO DAMAGE. NO INJURIES. I WAS TOLD TO PHONE THE TWR. I DID AND ANSWERED ALL THEIR QUESTIONS. I PROCEEDED ON WITH THE PHOTO FLT LATER WITH PAX AND FLEW BACK TO EKY AND INFORMED THE FBO WHO OWNED THE PLANE. RWYS 28 AND 21 CONFUSED ME. I NEED TO PAY ATTN.
