Narrative:
We were flying a pass at 1500 ft eastbound about 3 mi south of sna. Traffic was called to us at 11 O'clock and about 1 mi climbing out of 1100 ft. We reported looking and when we saw the jetstream he was at 12 O'clock about 1/2 mi climbing through 1500 ft. We descended below him and continued on our course once clear of traffic.
