Narrative:
After completing a VOR approach under VMC conditions, I instructed the student to turn the airplane to a heading of 290 degrees and begin a climb to 2500 ft MSL. This heading would take us away from the toledo suburban airport where we completed the approach, and near but clear of the toledo express class C airspace. The student instead turned to a heading of approximately 270 degrees and I missed the incorrect heading while scanning for traffic. I believe we may have grazed the class C airspace. At this point I gave the student a new heading to immediately take us away from the class C airspace.

Title: INST PLT TRAINEE TURNS BEYOND THE HDG DIRECTED BY THE RPTING FLT INSTRUCTOR RESULTING IN PENETRATING CLASS C AIRSPACE. THE RPTR NOTICED THE WRONG HDG AND DIRECTED THE TRAINEE TO TURN BACK AND EXIT THE CTLED AIRSPACE.
Narrative: AFTER COMPLETING A VOR APCH UNDER VMC CONDITIONS, I INSTRUCTED THE STUDENT TO TURN THE AIRPLANE TO A HDG OF 290 DEGS AND BEGIN A CLB TO 2500 FT MSL. THIS HDG WOULD TAKE US AWAY FROM THE TOLEDO SUBURBAN ARPT WHERE WE COMPLETED THE APCH, AND NEAR BUT CLR OF THE TOLEDO EXPRESS CLASS C AIRSPACE. THE STUDENT INSTEAD TURNED TO A HDG OF APPROX 270 DEGS AND I MISSED THE INCORRECT HDG WHILE SCANNING FOR TFC. I BELIEVE WE MAY HAVE GRAZED THE CLASS C AIRSPACE. AT THIS POINT I GAVE THE STUDENT A NEW HDG TO IMMEDIATELY TAKE US AWAY FROM THE CLASS C AIRSPACE.
