Narrative:
We noticed low oil pressure on oil pressure indicator. We thought we had an indication problem, but 15 mins later the oil pressure warning light illuminated and the #1 engine shut down in-flight. We declared an emergency, secured the engine and elected to start a descent towards sioux city. Approach and landing was uneventful.

Title: A DA20 LOSES OIL PRESSURE TO AN ENG, SHUTS THE ENG DOWN, DECLARES AN EMER AND LANDS. OCCURRED IN ZKC, MO, AIRSPACE.
Narrative: WE NOTICED LOW OIL PRESSURE ON OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR. WE THOUGHT WE HAD AN INDICATION PROB, BUT 15 MINS LATER THE OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE #1 ENG SHUT DOWN INFLT.
