Narrative:
Location: 75 mi west of wink. Checked fuel over nwn with normal readings, approximately 6000 pounds in each main and center 0. Approximately 8 mins later noted approximately 3000 pounds xferred from right to left main, now reading approximately 9200 pounds left and 3100 pounds right. Followed fuel imbalance procedure which accomplished bo in right tank. Consulted dispatch and technician who approved landing with imbalance. Upon landing approximately 5200 pounds left and 3100 pounds right. Required varying 5 units aileron trim during imbalance to level wings. Entered in log.

Title: FLC OF AN MD SUPER 80, FOUND A FUEL IMBALANCE DURING CRUISE AND ACCOMPLISHED APPROPRIATE CHKLIST WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. FLC CONTACTED THE COMPANY TECHNICIAN VIA DISPATCHER WITH NO LUCK OTHER THAN OK TO LAND WITH FUEL IMBALANCE WHICH WAS ACCOMPLISHED SUCCESSFULLY WITH 5 UNITS OF TRIM.

CONSULTED DISPATCH AND TECHNICIAN WHO APPROVED LNDG WITH IMBALANCE. UPON LNDG APPROX 5200 LBS L AND 3100 LBS R. REQUIRED VARYING 5 UNITS AILERON TRIM DURING IMBALANCE TO LEVEL WINGS. ENTERED IN LOG.
