Narrative:
At FL260 heading south from crg VORTAC en route atl-mlb we got a 'traffic' warning from our TCASII. We immediately got a 'climb' call and our vsi green band was 2500 FPM up. We informed ATC we were climbing out of FL260 for a resolution advisory. We leveled at FL266 with contact passing under us showing -11 (FL255) -- when aircraft passed, we descended back to FL260. ATC said the other aircraft was a B737 level at FL250 going in the opposite direction. Flight continued without further incident.

Narrative: AT FL260 HEADING S FROM CRG VORTAC ENRTE ATL-MLB WE GOT A 'TFC' WARNING FROM OUR TCASII. WE IMMEDIATELY GOT A 'CLB' CALL AND OUR VSI GREEN BAND WAS 2500 FPM UP. WE INFORMED ATC WE WERE CLBING OUT OF FL260 FOR A RESOLUTION ADVISORY. WE LEVELED AT FL266 WITH CONTACT PASSING UNDER US SHOWING -11 (FL255) -- WHEN ACFT PASSED, WE DSNDED BACK TO FL260. ATC SAID THE OTHER ACFT WAS A B737 LEVEL AT FL250 GOING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. FLT CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
