Narrative:
Upon flap retraction ht during departure climb, flaps were selected up. Flaps retracted then stuck at approximately 5 degrees. Emergency checklists followed with no recovery of flap control. Slats operated normally. An uneventful partial flap landing followed with a return to las. Emergency equipment was standing by at request of ATC. Landing weight below gross landing weight.

Title: FLC OF AN AIRBUS 310C RETURN LAND WITH PARTIAL FLAPS AFTER THE WING FLAPS STUCK DURING RETRACTION DURING DEP CLB. ACFT WAS BELOW MAX LNDG WT AND THE GND EMER EQUIP WAS STANDING BY.
Narrative: UPON FLAP RETRACTION HT DURING DEP CLB, FLAPS WERE SELECTED UP. FLAPS RETRACTED THEN STUCK AT APPROX 5 DEGS. EMER CHKLISTS FOLLOWED WITH NO RECOVERY OF FLAP CTL. SLATS OPERATED NORMALLY.
