Narrative:
On takeoff, air-to-ground sensor failed and could not retract the landing gear. Followed the abnormal procedures and landed at the nearest suitable, seatac international. Accomplished an overweight landing that was normal. Also exceeded the maximum in-flight weight for flaps 30 degrees (108000 pounds), taxied to gate and completed maintenance log.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: FLC OF AN MLG RETURNED TO LAND AFTER BEING UNABLE TO RETRACT THE LNDG GEAR WHICH WAS DETERMINED TO BE CAUSED BY A FAULTY AIR GND SENSOR SWITCH. THE ACFT WAS LANDED OVERWT.
Narrative: ON TKOF, AIR-TO-GND SENSOR FAILED AND COULD NOT RETRACT THE LNDG GEAR. FOLLOWED THE ABNORMAL PROCS AND LANDED AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE, SEATAC INTL. ACCOMPLISHED AN OVERWT LNDG THAT WAS NORMAL. ALSO EXCEEDED THE MAX INFLT WT FOR FLAPS 30 DEGS (108000 LBS), TAXIED TO GATE AND COMPLETED MAINT LOG.
