Narrative:
Right engine compressor stalled in descent. As I ran the abnormal procedure checklist first officer was flying and handling radios. At one point he got about 15 KTS below a minimum flap speed for our 5 degree setting. We both noticed at the same time and corrective action was taken. Rest of procedure was normal and nearly perfect. We both got busy with all the abnormal procedure steps and allowed our plane to get too slow. Like they say -- aviate, navigation and communicate in that order.
