Narrative:
We were told to taxi into position for runway 32 at ilg. We needed to back taxi for full length. The end of runway 32 intersects runway 1/19 at ilg. We inadvertently taxied beyond the end of runway 32 onto runway 1/19. We started to turn to line up with runway 32 and exit 1/19 and we were informed by the tower of our error. We were then cleared for takeoff runway 32. There was no other traffic but we realized the seriousness of the situation and believe better airport signs and lighting could have prevented this situation.
