Narrative:

Pushback from gate was normal. The ground crew disconnected the tug and we exchanged all clear signals (thumbs up). After receiving taxi clearance from ATC, I began to taxi with a right turn. I heard an unusual noise, felt a slight bump and immediately stopped the aircraft. Maintenance was called to our aircraft. They reported that our horizontal stabilizer had contacted the horizontal stabilizer of the aircraft parked next to us. We were marshalled back to the gate and canceled trip. Perhaps pushbacks need to be positioned so no turn needed. Just taxi straight, after push perhaps, a definite line or distance marker or spot to assure clearance.
