Narrative:
The tdwr at my facility experienced communication failure. This outage lasted 45 mins -- no reason known. When this happens, we lose capability for windshear, microburst and ctrfield wind display. When we don't have this equipment available we cannot pass advisories on in a timely manner.

Title: RPTED COM FAILURE WITH THE TDWR AFFECTING WINDSHEAR, MICROBURST AND CTRFIELD WIND DISPLAY CAPABILITY.
Narrative: THE TDWR AT MY FACILITY EXPERIENCED COM FAILURE. THIS OUTAGE LASTED 45 MINS -- NO REASON KNOWN. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, WE LOSE CAPABILITY FOR WINDSHEAR, MICROBURST AND CTRFIELD WIND DISPLAY. WHEN WE DON'T HAVE THIS EQUIP AVAILABLE WE CANNOT PASS ADVISORIES ON IN A TIMELY MANNER.
