Narrative:
Upon profile descent to runway 24 at toronto, STAR requires crossing waterloo VOR at between 13000-17000 ft, with a crossing 9 mi later at 11000 ft. Altitude preselector was set for the final altitude of 11000 ft. The aircraft did not leveloff at 13000 ft to cross waterloo, but continued to descend to 11000 ft. The PNF (myself) discovered the deviation, advised the PF and leveled off at current altitude (12000 ft) and continued with the profile.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN ACR CL65 FLC DSNDED BELOW A XING ALT WHILE PERFORMING A STAR INTO YYZ.
Narrative: UPON PROFILE DSCNT TO RWY 24 AT TORONTO, STAR REQUIRES XING WATERLOO VOR AT BTWN 13000-17000 FT, WITH A XING 9 MI LATER AT 11000 FT. ALT PRESELECTOR WAS SET FOR THE FINAL ALT OF 11000 FT. THE ACFT DID NOT LEVELOFF AT 13000 FT TO CROSS WATERLOO, BUT CONTINUED TO DSND TO 11000 FT. THE PNF (MYSELF) DISCOVERED THE DEV, ADVISED THE PF AND LEVELED OFF AT CURRENT ALT (12000 FT) AND CONTINUED WITH THE PROFILE.
