Narrative:
On taxi down taxiway M to enter ramp at H1 thought I heard for airbus (1ST of long line of traffic on taxiway V) to pass behind our regional jet. Apparently, he was addressing DC9 (2ND in line). Airbus stopped on taxiway V reconfirming in my mind that he was to pass behind us. Apparently that was not the case.

Title: FLC OF CARJ MISINTERPRETS TAXI CLRNC AND TAXIES PAST THE ACFT FOR WHICH THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HOLD.
