Narrative:

On feb/thu/98, we performed additional flying (test flight and repos flts for our airline). We totaled more than 9 hours of flight time that day and went on reduced rest for 9 hours that night, in order to begin our trip the next day. We were then required to have 12 hours rest in the 24 hour period, of which we only had 10 hours. We were unaware of this until the company notified us of the violation several days later.
