Narrative:
While level at FL290, center cleared us to FL330. Air carrier X shortly after leaving FL290 heading north approximately 15 mi south of craig VOR, receive TA on TCASII. Approximately 29600 ft, I start looking out while captain flew. Shortly after that the TA became an RA. Captain started to take evasive maneuvers according to TCASII, decrease climb approximately 500 FPM. Captain called center while center called captain I believe. Captain started left turn, first officer spotted traffic about 4-5 mi out. Then center reclred us to FL290 and turn 270 degrees. First officer, watch, believed to be B727, aircraft passed off right side approximately 2-3 mi, 800 ft vertical separation. Resume course back to bos. Rest of flight uneventful. I believe that our climb rate was higher than the B727, which I believe was climbing to another higher altitude. The conflict altitude was FL310. There were 2 aircraft over each on the TCASII at start, all were going in the same direction as us and the conflict aircraft right at us which might have added to the confusion.

Title: AFTER RECEIVING CLB CLRNC, A B737 LEAVES CRUISE ALT IN ZJX, FL, AIRSPACE AND CONFLICTS WITH A B727. TCASII RA KEEPS ACFT SEPARATED.
Narrative: WHILE LEVEL AT FL290, CTR CLRED US TO FL330. ACR X SHORTLY AFTER LEAVING FL290 HEADING N APPROX 15 MI S OF CRAIG VOR, RECEIVE TA ON TCASII. APPROX 29600 FT, I START LOOKING OUT WHILE CAPT FLEW. SHORTLY AFTER THAT THE TA BECAME AN RA. CAPT STARTED TO TAKE EVASIVE MANEUVERS ACCORDING TO TCASII, DECREASE CLB APPROX 500 FPM. CAPT CALLED CTR WHILE CTR CALLED CAPT I BELIEVE. CAPT STARTED L TURN, FO SPOTTED TFC ABOUT 4-5 MI OUT. THEN CTR RECLRED US TO FL290 AND TURN 270 DEGS. FO, WATCH, BELIEVED TO BE B727, ACFT PASSED OFF R SIDE APPROX 2-3 MI, 800 FT VERT SEPARATION. RESUME COURSE BACK TO BOS. REST OF FLT UNEVENTFUL. I BELIEVE THAT OUR CLB RATE WAS HIGHER THAN THE B727, WHICH I BELIEVE WAS CLBING TO ANOTHER HIGHER ALT. THE CONFLICT ALT WAS FL310. THERE WERE 2 ACFT OVER EACH ON THE TCASII AT START, ALL WERE GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS US AND THE CONFLICT ACFT RIGHT AT US WHICH MIGHT HAVE ADDED TO THE CONFUSION.
