Narrative:

On takeoff runway 9L standard power making right turn to heading 120 degrees called for flaps 5 degrees, we noticed slight yaw to left and aircraft not accelerating. Flight engineer said #1 engine was winding down. Aircraft control was xferred to first officer. Captain and engineer completed 2 engine approach and landing checklist, dumped 6100 pounds fuel, completed all appropriate checklists, declared an emergency and landed uneventfully. Supplemental information from acn 396132: we were seated in forward jump seat for takeoff and about 10 mins after takeoff the #4 called and said he thought we had lost an engine. Pilots were notified and we went back to mia. From the front we could not tell anything had happened.
