Narrative:

After landing in tvc, I realized that we may have landed without 'approved' WX. The tower was closed and I later realized that our company was not authority/authorized to give 'approved' WX per our company's operations specifications. 'Approved' WX is required before landing. I should have investigated it and not relied on our dispatch center to be correct. I've since talked with our company about having tvc approved to give WX. I believe our company has been landing without this WX for some time. This may stem from the fact that hardly anyone knows what 'approved' WX really is.
