Narrative:
Where have all the hold short lines gone? After landing runway 35R at den, tower instructed us to exit P7 and turn left on ec to hold short of runway 35L. Approaching runway 35L I noticed we were slowly creeping towards the runway. I was about to remind the captain to hold short, when he asked me if the next intersection was indeed the runway. I replied yes, and we came to a stop about 15-20 ft from the runway. A few seconds later tower called and requested we hold our position. Neither the captain nor I saw the hold line on the taxiway. It turns out den doesn't have painted hold short lines on the taxiway. They have a lighted sign to the left of the taxiway with a graphic depiction of a hold short line on it. Both the captain and I have flown in and out of den since it first opened over 3 yrs ago, yet we both failed to see the hold short sign, since we were looking for the painted hold short line.
