Cleared benky at 10000 ft, read back benky at 10000 ft, set altitude, first officer agreed. Through 10500 ft ATC said slow to 250 KTS at 11000 ft. Asked ATC confirm cleared to 10000 ft. ATC said benky at 11000 ft. Returned to 11000 ft from 10300 ft.
