Narrative:
Unsure as to when incident happened. Walkaround was completed during quick turn of aircraft in memphis, tn. No discrepancies noted. Upon block-in at memphis, tn, maintenance noticed a large dent and large hole in the outer right slat assembly. There were no bird strikes noticed while taxiing/flying. No lightning either. Only other possible cause could have been a cargo handler/truck could have struck the aircraft after the walkaround and maintenance checks were complete, and was unknown by the crew.
