Narrative:
Departing midway to the north, departure gave us a 090 degree heading. Rolling through 070 degrees I noticed a TCASII target 400 ft above us in the 2 O'clock position. I began a visual search and notified the captain target was coming straight at us and at 200 ft we began a leveloff. At 100 ft above us TCASII RA sounded 'monitor vertical speed.' at this point, TCASII showed target 100 ft directly above us. We never visually saw the other aircraft. We notified departure. They informed us that midway tower was controling the other aircraft and that the other aircraft had us visually.

Narrative: DEPARTING MIDWAY TO THE N, DEP GAVE US A 090 DEG HDG. ROLLING THROUGH 070 DEGS I NOTICED A TCASII TARGET 400 FT ABOVE US IN THE 2 O'CLOCK POS. I BEGAN A VISUAL SEARCH AND NOTIFIED THE CAPT TARGET WAS COMING STRAIGHT AT US AND AT 200 FT WE BEGAN A LEVELOFF. AT 100 FT ABOVE US TCASII RA SOUNDED 'MONITOR VERT SPD.' AT THIS POINT, TCASII SHOWED TARGET 100 FT DIRECTLY ABOVE US. WE NEVER VISUALLY SAW THE OTHER ACFT. WE NOTIFIED DEP. THEY INFORMED US THAT MIDWAY TWR WAS CTLING THE OTHER ACFT AND THAT THE OTHER ACFT HAD US VISUALLY.
