Narrative:

On landing, after the mains were on, the nose of the aircraft pitched up abruptly and the tail briefly came in contact with the ground. Aft center of gravity suspected, cargo may have shifted during flight or landing. After arrival, cvg ramp people advised us that they could only get the cargo door 1/2 way open. They also counted 9 bags that were extra heavy and should have been counted as double weights at the originating station (dtw). This may have resulted in an unintentional aft center of gravity.

Title: CAPT OF A SAAB SF340 (SF34L), HAD A TAIL STRIKE DURING LNDG ROLL WHEN GOING INTO REVERSE AND TOUCHING DOWN ON THE MAIN GEAR. THE FLC SUSPECTS THAT THE TAIL STRIKE WAS CAUSED BY OVERWT BAGGAGE SHIFTING AFT CAUSING THE ACFT CTR OF GRAVITY TO EXCEED AFT LIMITS.
