Narrative:
Location: 20 mi west of sju airport. While flying an intercept heading for runway 10, I accidentally bumped the volume switch on the radio while on approach control and was off the air for about 1 min. When I realized my error, I called approach control and they asked where we were. We then were cleared for the approach. There was no altitude deviation or traffic conflict.
