Narrative:

At normal cruise in smooth air, notified by flight attendant that another flight attendant was injured. Injury was a dislocated knee cap which occurred accidentally when flight attendant bumped a passenger seat during service. A request for medical personnel on board was initiated. Captain discussed incident with company. After confirming flight attendant was immobilized and in stable condition, the company decided it was best to divert to denver. Captain and I concurred that a request for lifeguard status was best course of action to ensure priority handling due to the nature of the incident. An uneventful divert to denver terminated with the flight attendant getting medical attention at the gate.
