Narrative:
Taxiing across runway 35L at taxiway ej, we told ground control that we were entering the ramp straight ahead, only to find another aircraft blocking the entrance. We proceeded northbound for one entry spot and then turned in. A B727 was turning south on the same taxiway but posed no conflict. The turn was made to avoid blocking the taxiway.
