Narrative:
During acceleration through 280 KTS, aircraft began low frequency vibration that appeared stronger on right side of aircraft. After checking gauges for other causes, suspected external power door was left open. Confirmed by ramp upon arrival in las.

Title: A B727-200 WAS DISPATCHED WITH THE EXTERNAL PWR DOOR OPEN CAUSING LOW FREQ VIBRATIONS WHEN EXCEEDING 280 KTS.
Narrative: DURING ACCELERATION THROUGH 280 KTS, ACFT BEGAN LOW FREQ VIBRATION THAT APPEARED STRONGER ON R SIDE OF ACFT. AFTER CHKING GAUGES FOR OTHER CAUSES, SUSPECTED EXTERNAL PWR DOOR WAS LEFT OPEN. CONFIRMED BY RAMP UPON ARR IN LAS.
