Narrative:
At uno they have a moored WX balloon. We were never briefed on its impact to our operations. A week after the balloon has been flying a memo appeared on sector advising the NDB approach is unusable when the balloon is airborne. We are not getting word on sector when the balloon is airborne. One day we called ZKC to confirm and the sgf low sector controller didn't know about it. At ZME jbr low sector is affected.
