Narrative:

Flying from bmg to evv, cruise climb at 3000 ft, I noticed the magnetic compass had failed and I forgot to report it. Flight continued to destination which was base of operation for aircraft. Noticed after switching from bloomington to huf that the magnetic compass was out of fluid, and the card was tilted due to a turn. Not caught on ground because I was parked on a compass rose and calibrated instruments to that. Informed FBO of this failure.
