Narrative:
While attempting to climb to an altitude that would allow me to cross the continental divide on top, while leveling out at 17500 ft, I got caught in a strong updraft that pushed me up to 18000 ft MSL. I probably went into class a airspace without a clearance for about 15-30 seconds while I attempted to get back down to 17500 ft.
