Narrative:

We were instructed to cross 30 mi east of oxi at FL250. Captain started down and we began checklists and got distraction. About 4 mi east of oxi, we were still at FL280. We made best effort to make crossing restr, but crossed assigned point at FL265. Center said we had not caused concern. We continued descent and reached FL250. Remainder of flight uneventful. Center seemed unconcerned about the crossing. Supplemental information from acn 411280: given crossing 30 mi east of oxi at FL250. While discussing changeover setting, we were late for crossing. Advised ZAU. They released us from the restr and stated no conflict. Continued to ord.

WE MADE BEST EFFORT TO MAKE XING RESTR, BUT CROSSED ASSIGNED POINT AT FL265. CTR SAID WE HAD NOT CAUSED CONCERN. WE CONTINUED DSCNT AND REACHED FL250. REMAINDER OF FLT UNEVENTFUL. CTR SEEMED UNCONCERNED ABOUT THE XING. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 411280: GIVEN XING 30 MI E OF OXI AT FL250. WHILE DISCUSSING CHANGEOVER SETTING, WE WERE LATE FOR XING. ADVISED ZAU. THEY RELEASED US FROM THE RESTR AND STATED NO CONFLICT. CONTINUED TO ORD.
