On final, approach control handed off to tower. First officer called tower and both captain and first officer heard 'cleared to land.' after landing, ground controller said tower did not have contact. Radio check with tower on taxiway was ok.

Narrative:
On visual runway 13 at jax, approach control handed off to tower. I was flying and first officer called tower. We both heard 'cleared to land.' no other communications till touchdown. Clearing runway, first officer asked tower if we should contact ground control -- no response. Contacted ground control and was cleared to ramp. Ground control asked if we had heard tower calling us on final -- we replied no. Switched back to tower frequency for radio check and tower responded 'loud and clear.' no other comments from ATC about incident.
