Narrative:
The only problem I experienced was my oxygen. When I got it out of the compartment, there were a lot of rubber bands around it. I couldn't get them undone. I had to take oxygen from overhead. The #3 flight attendant helped me get the rubber bands off and then I could use the oxygen. I was talking with some first class passenger when the #3 flight attendant told me that the captain said the masks might drop. I went to the cockpit and they had their masks on. He told me that he was dropping the masks and we should take oxygen. I called the flight attendants in back. The captain made a PA. I turned the lights on bright -- went for the oxygen, ended up using a mask, made my PA and then we checked the passenger. It felt like we were descending gradually, but when the masks dropped we descended faster. The captain said that the air conditioning pack had shut down and the back-up wasn't working right. We continued to bos. No passenger were injured. #2 flight attendant (who is on blood pressure medicine) felt lightheaded and dizzy. She was removed from the trip.
