Narrative:
On taxi in to gate xx at mci, the left wing struck a cabin service wheeled reprovisioning stand and stairs. All indications were normal with wing walkers and marshalling agent in position with all clear signals given. When the cockpit was past the jetway and within 5-8 ft of the intended stop position, the crew felt the aircraft shudder as if we had run over some small object with one of the mains. The aircraft's momentum carried it forward at a very slow speed when the marshalling agent gave a crosswands stop command. Initial flight crew inspection showed a broken lens cover and some minor or superficial damage to associated components.
