Narrative:
Struck light post with left wing while taxiing around jet aircraft at dca (FBO). Damaged wing, fuel spill, no injuries. Received dca ground clearance and FBO directions, but too focused on proximity of parked aircraft. Was reported by FBO to FAA at field, no FAA appearance. Did not file formal report to FAA per pilot's group recommendation.
