Narrative:
Compressor stall #1 engine on takeoff. Winds were variable and gusting. Engine recovered and operated normally for remainder of flight. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the aircraft was a B727-200. The reporter said the gusty and variable wind was no factor in the engine stalling. The reporter stated maintenance did the precautionary checks at trip termination, pulled oil screens, checked inlet compressor blades, exhaust turbine blades and ran engine at power. The reporter stated the aircraft was returned to service after maintenance.

Title: A B727-200 ON TKOF AT 500 FT HAD #1 ENG COMPRESSOR STALL AND RECOVER TO OPERATE NORMALLY REMAINDER OF TRIP.
Narrative: COMPRESSOR STALL #1 ENG ON TKOF. WINDS WERE VARIABLE AND GUSTING. ENG RECOVERED AND OPERATED NORMALLY FOR REMAINDER OF FLT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE ACFT WAS A B727-200. THE RPTR SAID THE GUSTY AND VARIABLE WIND WAS NO FACTOR IN THE ENG STALLING. THE RPTR STATED MAINT DID THE PRECAUTIONARY CHKS AT TRIP TERMINATION, PULLED OIL SCREENS, CHKED INLET COMPRESSOR BLADES, EXHAUST TURBINE BLADES AND RAN ENG AT PWR. THE RPTR STATED THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SVC AFTER MAINT.
