Narrative:
Both aircraft departed pit, climbing and going to the same fix. Both were switched to ZOB. I was called later and informed the aircraft were switched with 4.62 mi instead of 5 mi and I was removed from the position and charged with an operational error for making the center's 'snitch patch' go off. This is a busy afternoon departure push and I thought the prescribed separation existed.
