Narrative:
While parked at the gate at dtw, we received our flight plan with our routing on it. There was also a message that advised of a revised routing and that we should get a full readback of the clearance from ATC. I told the first officer that when he calls for the clearance that he should get a full readback. He called for the clearance a little while later as we both listened and got the transponder code and clearance. I did not think anything about it until a little while later while we were en route from flm to rmg per our flight plan. ATC called and asked if we were going to gqo. I said no, we were going to rmg. I told him that our flight plan had flm direct rmg. He said we were supposed to go to gqo. I then discussed this with the first officer and asked him if we hadn't gotten the full readback. He said that he thought we did as I also thought we had gotten the full readback. We then proceeded to gqo, rmg and the arrival. To my knowledge there were no traffic conflicts and no sense of urgency existed.

Title: AN MD88 FLC GETS AN AMENDED CLRNC RTE CHANGE FROM ZTL WHILE ENRTE TO RMG. ARTCC RADAR CTLR IMPLIED THAT THIS WAS A HDG TRACK POS DEV. CREW HAD RECEIVED A FULL AMENDED CLRNC READBACK PRIOR TO DEP DTW.
Narrative: WHILE PARKED AT THE GATE AT DTW, WE RECEIVED OUR FLT PLAN WITH OUR ROUTING ON IT. THERE WAS ALSO A MESSAGE THAT ADVISED OF A REVISED ROUTING AND THAT WE SHOULD GET A FULL READBACK OF THE CLRNC FROM ATC. I TOLD THE FO THAT WHEN HE CALLS FOR THE CLRNC THAT HE SHOULD GET A FULL READBACK. HE CALLED FOR THE CLRNC A LITTLE WHILE LATER AS WE BOTH LISTENED AND GOT THE XPONDER CODE AND CLRNC. I DID NOT THINK ANYTHING ABOUT IT UNTIL A LITTLE WHILE LATER WHILE WE WERE ENRTE FROM FLM TO RMG PER OUR FLT PLAN. ATC CALLED AND ASKED IF WE WERE GOING TO GQO. I SAID NO, WE WERE GOING TO RMG. I TOLD HIM THAT OUR FLT PLAN HAD FLM DIRECT RMG. HE SAID WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GO TO GQO. I THEN DISCUSSED THIS WITH THE FO AND ASKED HIM IF WE HADN'T GOTTEN THE FULL READBACK. HE SAID THAT HE THOUGHT WE DID AS I ALSO THOUGHT WE HAD GOTTEN THE FULL READBACK. WE THEN PROCEEDED TO GQO, RMG AND THE ARR. TO MY KNOWLEDGE THERE WERE NO TFC CONFLICTS AND NO SENSE OF URGENCY EXISTED.
