Narrative:
We took off on east operation. Did 1 touch-and-go on east operation. Left seat occupant's head set found to be intermittent. Right seat occupant was working radios. We switched to north operation. Cleared to land runway 36L. We were told to taxi to ramp, hold short runway 36R. Right seat occupant acknowledged taxi instruction, gave hand signal to left seat occupant as to where to turn. We started to cross runway 36R when right seat occupant yelled above headsets to hold short. We were on runway, then taxied clear. Aircraft on landing roll on runway 36R. Left seat occupant contacted tower upon shutdown and explained situation. Left seat occupant's head set had just come back from overhaul -- worked ok in previous aircraft, but became intermittent in this aircraft. Solution would be to let individual that had the good headset taxi the aircraft. Also, should have briefed for that possibility prior to takeoff.

WE STARTED TO CROSS RWY 36R WHEN R SEAT OCCUPANT YELLED ABOVE HEADSETS TO HOLD SHORT. WE WERE ON RWY, THEN TAXIED CLR. ACFT ON LNDG ROLL ON RWY 36R. L SEAT OCCUPANT CONTACTED TWR UPON SHUTDOWN AND EXPLAINED SIT. L SEAT OCCUPANT'S HEAD SET HAD JUST COME BACK FROM OVERHAUL -- WORKED OK IN PREVIOUS ACFT, BUT BECAME INTERMITTENT IN THIS ACFT. SOLUTION WOULD BE TO LET INDIVIDUAL THAT HAD THE GOOD HEADSET TAXI THE ACFT. ALSO, SHOULD HAVE BRIEFED FOR THAT POSSIBILITY PRIOR TO TKOF.
