Narrative:

While I was involved in checking takeoff event parameters for functional test flight and pushing event record button, captain started turning to turboprop heading listed on SID (120 degrees). After about 30 degrees of turn, tower advised to turn back to 180 degrees. There was no conflict with traffic, however, the course depiction on SID was read as required by all aircraft and departure error was made. Consider depicting turboprop information with some designator that would easily identify difference on the plan view (map view) of sids and arrs.
