Narrative:
ZAU notified us after takeoff that ord tower thought we blew a tire on takeoff. Upon landing at anc we stopped and maintenance verified we did in fact blow one of the left mains. Taxied in, no further problem was encountered.

Title: TWR RPTED TO FLC OF A B747-200 THE POSSIBLE TIRE FAILURE ON TKOF. ON LNDG AT DEST MAINT EXAMINED AND CONFIRMED.
Narrative: ZAU NOTIFIED US AFTER TKOF THAT ORD TWR THOUGHT WE BLEW A TIRE ON TKOF. UPON LNDG AT ANC WE STOPPED AND MAINT VERIFIED WE DID IN FACT BLOW ONE OF THE L MAINS. TAXIED IN, NO FURTHER PROB WAS ENCOUNTERED.
